Visual And Performing Arts
Program Overview
The Fine Arts Magnet program engages students in hands-on creative expression through Visual Art, Theatre, Show Choir, Orchestra, and Band. Our students perform and exhibit in school and around Broward County and have field trips and workshops with professional artists and performers. Primary grade students participate in our exposure program, which develops their base skills. In 3rd grade, students are selected to continue with one of our programs for their remaining years, ensuring excellence in their discipline and future.
Program Offers
Students involved in the Visual and Performing Arts program have the opportunity to participate in hands-on learning through engaging classroom lessons, in-house field experiences, off-campus field trips, guest speakers, and a variety of on-campus and off-campus performances. In addition to school-based performative coursework, many local talents frequent our stages.
